How do I share receipts and documents with you?
We use Hubdoc for automated receipt and document capture — you photograph receipts on your phone and they are uploaded instantly. Bank statements and other documents are shared through our secure TaxDome client portal. Most clients spend less than 10 minutes per week on document sharing after the initial setup.
Is the T2 corporate tax filing really included free?
Yes — for clients on a monthly bookkeeping plan, we include the annual T2 corporate tax return preparation and filing at no extra charge. The director's personal tax return is also included. This is part of our flat-fee package, not a promotional offer with an expiry date.
When will I receive my monthly financial statements?
We deliver your monthly income statement and balance sheet by the 15th of the following month in most cases. For example, your January financials are delivered by February 15. If we require additional information to complete the month, we contact you promptly through the TaxDome portal.
What if my books are behind — can you still help?
Yes — we offer catch-up bookkeeping as a separate engagement to bring your records up to date before transitioning to a monthly plan. Do you use QuickBooks Online or Xero?
We are certified advisors on both platforms and work with whichever you prefer. If you do not currently use either, we recommend QuickBooks Online for most small businesses and Xero for businesses that prefer a more visual interface or operate across multiple currencies. We handle the full setup and migration at no extra charge.
What is the 60-Day Fees-Matching Policy?
If you receive a written quote from any other licensed CPA firm for the same scope of bookkeeping work, we will match it within 60 days of engaging us.
